Now we have to break our bad habits and build good habits in order to succeed in life. You just need to repeat the behavior daily and it will become a habit and you can perform the task without even thinking about the process. Just try once, start waking up in the morning at 5 am and go running or do exercise daily. First, you need to use the alarm clock to wake you up for a few weeks. But once it becomes a habit by repeating the same task, you will start waking up early in the morning without the alarm clock. Try to develop these small habits that may help you to succeed in life.
Positive habits for the students:
- Always make a habit of completing the topic of study that you have started. Most of the students have a habit of leaving half of the topic for a later time. This happens because of laziness and when you restart any chapter later you need much more energy and willpower to restart again than previously. That is because you need to start from the beginning in order to complete the chapter. So never leave your task unfinished and always follow your study routine. If your task is big, break into the smaller task but do not jump into something else before finishing the running task until it is an emergency. Sometimes an unfinished task remains unfinished because we forget later to finish it or we lose the attention or interest to finish the task. If you get into an emergency just come back fast to complete your unfinished task.
- Break your topics into small tasks and try to complete the tasks one by one. This habit will give you a greater sense of accomplishment and happiness. You may have already felt happiness after completing studying a chapter. You feel a positive vibe after completing a topic and achieving your goals for the day. So divide your syllabus into small parts and feel accomplishment after finishing the small topics. This will boost your self-confidence, willpower, and positive energy.
- Start studying right away as per your schedule. Avoid procrastination which means do not avoid completing your task right away. Procrastination is the biggest enemy of success. When you leave your task for another time, you keep accumulating the study syllabus for the latter. This habit piles up your tasks into a big mountain and you lose your energy to complete the piled-up task. You become frustrated later and stop studying losing self-confidence. Hence, avoid leaving your task for another time. Just do it right away in positive mindset and you will feel accomplished and filled with positive energy.
- Always make a habit of exercise, sports, or meditation. Keeping yourself fit is the best way to reward your body as well as your mind. You cannot perform well until you are fit both physically and mentally. A student who takes care of his/her physical and mental health is much more productive than other students. Just invest a small amount of time, 1 hour or 30 minutes, in a day for your health. This small investment daily will keep you providing positive vibes and energy for the whole day. Also, note that keep yourself surrounded with the positive people.
- Practicing questions after finishing a chapter is also a good habit because solving question test your learned knowledge and you can evaluate yourself. You can find your strength and weakness in the chapter and practice makes you perfect.
- Revision is another good habit for the students. Make a revision plan in such a way that you never forget your learned topics. When you do not revise the topic you tend to forget it after some time because you are a human, not a machine. So, keep revisiting the topics when you feel you are about to forget some topics at a convenient interval of time.
- Keep yourself social. Always talk to your family members in your free time. Meet friends and play sports. Attend events in your free time. These small activities will keep you away from loneliness and negative thoughts. Try to keep your mind free from negative energy all the time. Take a break when you feel exhausted and come back stronger to start again.
