A successful athlete never skips his/her training that is the reason they are successful and serving their purpose very well. A successful businessman knows when to attend meetings and what type of tasks need to be finished on a particular day. They do everything as per their defined schedule. They never miss their task and meetings.
In the same way, if you want to be successful and achieve better results in your study. Start planning your whole day, a whole week, the whole year. You should know what topic needs to be covered today, what kind of questions to be solved today. You should plan in such a way that you cover all your syllabus within a defined interval giving yourself enough time for practicing questions and revisions. You should not only plan for your study but also for meditation, sports, exercises, and sleep.
How to Establish Study Routine?
- Determine your priorities of work. The most important syllabus needs to be covered first. Divide your study task into different categories and start completing them one by one. You will start to see a clear picture of your syllabus completion after a certain time if you prioritise your task well.
- Give time for exercise, sports, and meditation. If you need to perform well, you need both physical as well as mental fitness (Positive mindset). If you are mentally and physically fit, you will have more energy to study and much better concentration and focus. Exercise boosts your willpower for study and removes laziness. Also, surround yourself in the positive environment to stay motivated.
- Structure your schedule in such a way that it should cover your favorite topic as well as a topic that you do not like to study. This will keep the balance for your syllabus and will help you finish the syllabus in the timeline and achieve the defined goal easily. For example for a particular day include some topic that you love to study and include some topic which you have difficulty studying. This will help you complete the difficult topic along the path. The truth is that you need to also complete the task that you do enjoy completing. It is like a story of a child who can eat green vegetables in order to enjoy the ice cream at the end as an award.
- Find your best time in a day to study. You may have felt that at a particular time of the day, you are more productive as compared to other times. For example, some students like to study in the morning but some are more productive at night. So try to find your best time to study. This will increase your efficiency and you can cover more topics in less time.
- Give yourself enough time to sleep. Your body and mind perform well only after a proper and sufficient rest. So always give yourself enough time to sleep.
- At last, evaluate yourself every day. You need to check your schedule and list of tasks you have performed today. At the end of the day, you can check what tasks from the lists are still not complete and feel happy for the tasks that you have completed. This will help you keep track of your daily activities and help you evaluate yourself. If you are unable to complete tasks, try to complete them the next day and you may change your schedule so that you are able to finish the assigned task every day. This will give you enough confidence to keep moving towards your defined goal.
